'The Future of Electricity Markets in Eastern Europe and Russia'

The Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) has the pleasure of inviting you to our fifth Energy Day.
The focus will be on the electricity market(s) in Eastern Europe and Russia. Electricity supply is a crucial component for a sustainable growth. A well functioning electricity market is often characterized by competition along the supply chain, reliable interconnections at the national level but also between neighbouring countries, efficient production, responsive demand and higt environmental performance.
The electricity sector in this region has undergone major changes but faces still many challenges. We will discuss current reforms and policy challenges during this event.
