»Asia's Institutions for Regional Integration: Toward an Asian Economic Community
This seminar will present a study on “Institutions for Regional
Integrations: Toward an Asian Economic Community” the ADB is
finalizing, focused on designing an institutional architecture
conducive to the creation of a regional economic community. In
addition, a panel of experts will discuss the opportunities and
challenges of transitional economies in Central Asia and the
role of the civil society in shaping the agenda of regional
institutions for integration.
The seminar will be introduced and chaired by
Torbjörn Becker,
Director of SITE. Time will be available for questions and
answers after the presentation.
