The program is intergrating business theory, practice and skills. You will be given the opportunity to apply your theoretical learnings in real-life settings when working with live cases and projects and to practise your business skills in a variety of areas ranging from presentation and negotiation skills to project management.
Full Business Model
A business model is a description of a firm’s current or planned positioning on the market, use of resources, structuring of its relationships, interfacing with customers, and creating value to sustain itself - that is, generate revenue.
A full business model includes all activities that define how a firm performs in the marketplace and focuses attention on how all the elements of a business fit together. It helps you determining whether a business makes sence or not. By understanding the full business model of a firm, managers are given the opportunity to test “what-if” questions. The MSc in General Management will emphasize the different core aspects of a business and give you a thorough understanding of the value creation process within a company or organization.
Business Interaction
The Stockholm School of Economics has strong links to the business community and you will have the opportunity to interact with practitioners from the very beginning of the program until its end.
SSE was founded by the business community in 1909 in order to meet the demand for academically trained professionals and we have a long tradition of close business interaction.
