The MSc in Business and Economics at SSE is a
unique program which allows for specialized education in a high level learning environment. There are no similar course offerings in the United States, and this program provided the perfect fit with my educational background and career goals.
The education that the program provides is not only a solid
foundation for the start of a career, but also a healthy compliment in taking a new career to the next level. With my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and four years of relevant work experience, I continue to learn new ways to apply theoretical aspects to real world situations.
The
student life at SSE has far exceeded my expectations. As a board member of the Master’s Committee, I am involved in the planning and execution of events to bring the Master’s students together in a
fun and relaxed atmosphere to enhance and strengthen the community. In the four short months here, the outgoing and inclusive nature of the students has allowed for close bonds that will last throughout the two years spent at SSE and far beyond.

SSE is a well-known and reputable university in both Sweden and Europe. The high standard of teaching as well as the close links to the
business world, offers good insights and great career opportunities after graduating. Moreover I wanted to pursue a Master's degree in English and abroad, which is after the Bologna reform less complicated than ever before. As a foreigner, a big advantage in Sweden is definitely the perfect fluency of English of literally everyone you meet here.
Apart from teaching SSE offers a great
variety of student clubs everyone can engage in. The first day we were welcomed with open arms and immediately had the
feeling to belong here. Moreover centrally-located, SSE is a good starting point to use all advantages an international European capital like Stockholm offers.

When looking for the opportunity to continue my education in one of Europe's top business schools, I came across information about the CEMS MIM program and decided to do my best to be admitted. First of all, I needed to be accepted to one of CEMS academic member schools, among which I found SSE. I heard a lot about SSE before and started to search for more details about the School, its programs, and admission requirements. After I learned about SSE’s high ranking in the Financial Times, the interesting curriculum, and value for money I applied for SSE's master program and was very happy to be accepted.
The education here has absolutely met my expectations so far! It is so intense, dynamic, and practical and I learnt so many new things and gained new skills these first four months that I cannot imagine what will happen next semester!
I was pleasantly surprised how active the Student Association is, organizing many different events every week! The only problem is to find enough time because of a full schedule, but when I manage to do so, I enjoy every minute spent with the other students!

Having studied at SSE for several years now, I know that choosing this school is one of the very best decisions I have ever made. After finishing my B.Sc. here, there was never any doubt about continuing to the Master program since it is known to really take your area of interest to the edge. What has really appealed to me is the approach of applying a hands-on academic framework which has shown to be of true practical relevance in my working life.
But not only have my studies here provided me with a first-class education. The friendships that I have made here and the truly unique unity between the students is something that has not only enhanced my student life, but rather defined most of my personal life. SSE together with its Student Association really becomes a part of you and having said that, it most certainly becomes a part of your future career. The network you get, the analytical tool-box that you develop and the great reputation of SSE, all constantly provide you with new opportunities and are great accelerators for your future professional life.
