In order to be eligible to apply to the specialization in International Economics, the following requirements have to be fulfilled:

Bachelor degree with at least
90 ECTS in Social Sciences (including but not limited to Economics, Business Administration and Political Science) , with a minimum of
30 ECTS specifically in Economics.
GMAT with a score of
600 or higher or
GRE with the following test scores: Quantitative: with a score of
148 (revised GRE General Test) or
600 (test taken before August 1, 2011) or higher. Analytical Writing: with a score of
4.5-5.0 or higher.
TOEFL: achieving a minimum of
600 if paper based,
250 if computer based and
100 if Internet based, or IELTS: achieving at least
band 7.
Exemption from the
TOEFL/IELTS requirement is granted for applicants with
a) English as their native language, or
b) a Bachelor’s degree from a program conducted completely in English, or
c) qualifications “English B” from Swedish upper secondary school. The specializations in Applied Economic Analysis and International Economics have a joint intake.
Relevant work experience and extracurricular activities may be taken into account. Your submitted application documents should therefore include a CV and also a letter of motivation.
