Saltmätargatan (Saltis)

There are 34 furnished single room apartments of 20-28 sqm and 8 furnished apartments 29-36 sqm for share. When you share a room, you will share one bigger room with two beds, but most shared rooms has an additional alcove. There is no door between the room and the alcove. All apartments have a bathroom and basiq cooking facilities (hotplate and  microwave oven). Some rooms have refrigerator with freezer compartment inside the room, or else you will have  a refrigerator and freezer in the corridor.

Water, heating, electricity, free access to the laundry room and a householder’s comprehensive insurance is included in the rent.. Only admitted SSE students and SSE staff have free access to the SSE wireless /wired network from the apartment.

The following textiles are included in the rent: shower drapery, curtains, mattress cover, bed quilt and pillow. Bedlinen and towels are not provided. The tenant is responsible for buying and changing the battery in the fire alarm and the standard bulbs.

Some kitchen utensils are usually left by the previous student, but it is advisable to bring or purchase your own. There is a communal kitchen with stove, dishwasher, fridge and freezer on the 5th floor.

Smoking indoors is not allowed and it is forbidden to put the fire alarm out of gear in order to smoke. Open the kitchen windows if a heavy smell starts to build up in the kitchen due to your cooking.

Normal housing temperature in Sweden is 21-22 degrees Celcius. Sudden changes of weather may cause a (normal) drop in temperature indoors for a few hours. Below 18 is not acceptable.
