From the very beginning, scientific publishing has been an activity at the core of EFI, the Economic Research Institute. In the “Instruction” governing the management of the Institute, it is stated that “[t]he results from the research projects conducted at the Institute shall be made public when the project is ended.” (§13) The publishing of our researchers’ results have continued to be a main concern for the Institute, and in the 1990s, an earlier series of working papers was transformed into two electronic series now available on the Institute’s web.
