Master of Science in General Management

Master Program in General Management

Do you have an undergraduate degree in a subject other than Business or Economics? Is your working experience limited? Then the SSE MSc in General Management might be for you.
The program addresses high-potential students who seek a challenge and have the ambition to reach leadership positions in different industries. If you are ambitious and curious, want to tackle new issues, open to change, and willing to use your leadership potential and prior knowledge and experiences to contribute meaningfully to the development of the group as awhole, we warmly welcome your application!

In today's business community, there is a high demand for professionals whose education combines business with other fields (such as engineering, law, medicine, political science, design, or journalism). Future leaders need to have broad business knowledge and to know how to apply theories and conceptual tools as well as to manage projects.

Solid theoretical base combined with practical skills training

The MSc in General Management offers a solid theoretical base combined with practical skills training. The master's students will work on real-life projects and acquire a good understanding of the core aspects of a business - from idea generation and strategy, through sales, marketing and operations to finance, accounting and organizational structure.

Combined with a solid specialist education, the program gives students great freedom of choice in their future careers, opening pathways to positions such as industrial business leader, line manager or entrepreneur or specialist functions such as corporate lawyer or business journalist. Graduates from the program go into diverse industries: for example management consulting, computer/information technology, investment banking, manufacturing and media/culture.
