Welcome to the China Economic Research Center

The China Economic Research Center (CERC) at the Stockholm School of Economics is a leading center for studies of the Chinese economy. CERC research, teaching and outreach activities are focused on China’s impact on the global economy, foreign investments and trade with China, and the impact of Chinese growth on developed and emerging markets.

CERC was set up through generous support from Ericsson, the Sweden based world-leading supplier in telecommunications. CERC works in close cooperation with the Institute of International Business and the European Institute of Japanese Studies at the Stockholm School of Economics, and the China Center for Economic Research at Peking University.
