The Wirsäll Lecture
Each year CCM hosts the Wirsäll Lecture at the Stockholm School of Economics. The Wirsäll Lecture was a birthday present to Nils-Erik Wirsäll from an array of firms and institutions.

With their gift, they wanted to stimulate continuous development, renewal and new thinking in firms; that is to say, key concepts that have characterized Nils-Erik's important contributions to Swedish retail trade over the years. The theme of the lecture is "Renewal in the Firm", and its objective is to keep the discussion of this theme alive. The public and students at the Stockholm School of Economics are welcome to this lecture (free of charge).
Nils-Erik Wirsäll (1916-2008) was president of ICA AB 1972-1978 and a member of ICA's board 1972-1984. He has also been the chairman of Ahlsell and Procordia, as well as vice chairman of Skandia. He was the author of several thought-provoking books, and he was a key force behind establishing CCM.
