Recruiting students and graduates

There are several ways to reach the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) students and graduates and to increase your organization’s profile on campus.

Advertise your vacancies

Advertising your vacancy online is an excellent way to target our students. The digital Placement Board is administrated by the Student Association and gives your company an opportunity to inform SSE students about all types of available positions. It is easy to use and free of charge. To advertise, send your ad in pdf format to the placementboard.

Company Presentations

Presentations are a useful way of ‘selling’ your company and its graduate opportunities to students. It is a chance to inform as many students as possible about the industry, your organization, career paths in it, and your company culture. If you’re interested in holding a company presentation, please contact the company department at the Student Association.

The Business Forum

The Business Forum is the annual recruitment fair arranged by the Student Association and held in February every year. A large number of companies attend the Forum to recruit new employees, market their business and meet the students of SSE’s programs. Visit the Business Forum website.

The SSE Career Center

The SSE Career Center offers students information and guidance in all career-related matters. An important part of the services is the Skills & Career Management Program, which aims to aid students’ employability and development of transferable skills. The SSE Career Center values the contributions from employers to this program. Taking part means an excellent opportunity to meet with our students and raise your organization’s profile on campus, while genuinely helping with students' employability and skills development. The courses and sessions are asked to be interactive and non-promotional, focused on developing specific rather than broad skills and with clear learning outcomes for students. Past experiences and evaluations have shown that the skills courses and sessions are highly appreciated by the students because of the value-added information and practice they bring. For more information on the Skills & Career Management Program, please contact Career Center.

Placement

Each year the Career Center performs a survey to find out what kind of jobs our graduates get, how much they earn, how long it takes to find a job, in what industries they start working etc. Find out the details in our Placement Report 2009 (pdf).
