Equality
The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) believes that everyone gains from increased diversity and equality of opportunity.
The goal is that students and employees should feel encouraged and welcome to come to the School for study or work regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, religion or other beliefs, disabilities or social background.
Since 2006 SSE has worked strategically on equality of opportunity, diversity (employees) and equal treatment (students) under the heading Equality. The Equality Committee and the Rector have ultimate responsibility for ensuring that a goal-driven equality program is implemented at the School. In addition, all departmental heads in our institution have a special responsibility to see that the equality program is integrated into their own areas of operation.
